WE ARE THE BOP CHAMPIONS!!! … If you’ve not heard the news yet Omanu took out the BOP Junior Champs at Waihi Beach on Sunday by a handsome margin.
There were several fantastic results and performances from all of our kids as individuals or as part of our teams. Click here for the results from the weekend
Our resident photographer Geoff Brown’s put together another album of photo’s from the BOP Champs – so check these out and thanks Geoff!
Results like these don’t happen on their own and a huge thank you to the Omanu kids, parents, age group managers, officials, coaches and other helpers for all of your hard work and help so far and we want that to continue.

SUNDAY JUNIOR & INTERMEDIATE SURF PROGRAMME
Thanks to all kids, assisting parents, BBQ’ers and our outstanding leaders for your enthusiasm and help pre-Xmas.
Remember your Sunday attendance as part Ocean Athletes or Intermediate and Junior Surf is a huge part of us growing and keeping a strong club that caters for all areas and levels of ability so see you all again once our Sunday sessions resume.
Again apologies for the unfortunate cancellation of our last Sunday session of 2015 and a reminder that if conditions look doubtful check our website, Facebook or contact any leader or the club by about 9am on a Sunday morning for an update.
Also remember that anyone from the Yellow Group (U10) upwards is eligible to take part in the Ocean Athletes or Board Academy training sessions and we’d love to see more entries for the big carnivals (ERC & OA16) during the second half of our season so get amongst it!
Thanks everyone, a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you all and we’ll see you for the resumption of Omanu Junior & Intermediate Surf on Sunday 17th January 2016
